Debra Engel is a Senior Executive Adviser to numerous established and emerging growth organizations in Silicon Valley, CA. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Concours Group. In addition to CRI's advisory board, she sits on the advisory board of Advanced-HR, BrassRing, Clickhome, ITM Software, and Kadiri. Formerly the Senior Vice President for Corporate Services at 3Com, Ms. Engel's professional career includes serving as Hewlett Packard's Corporate Staffing Manager, and HR Manager for Hewlett Packard's Avondale Division. Active in the nonprofit community, Ms. Engel serves as Board Chair for the Community Foundation of SiliconValley, and is Vice Chair for the Center for Excellence in Nonprofits. She is also a Board member for the eBay Foundation, Entrepreneur's Foundation, Skoll Foundation, Society for Human Resource Management Foundation and Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence. A Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum and Executive Fellow for the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University, Ms. Engel's recent honors include recognition by the Association of Fundraising Professionals as Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, and her induction into the National Academy of Human Resources.

Formerly Executive Vice President at BrassRing responsible for managing the profit & loss of the talent acquisition, recruitment process outsourcing and talent consulting services, Ms. Rasmussen's career also includes many years at Spherion Corporation. It was during her tenure at Spherion that she served as Executive Vice President and President of Saratoga Institute, the global leader in human capital management and metrics. Row Henson has been involved in Human Resources and Human Resource Management Systems for the past three decades. Retired from fulltime employment, Ms. Henson continues to be very involved in the Human Resource field. She currently serves as a PeopleSoft fellow, providing thought leadership, input, and advice on the company's HRMS product line -a natural role for her after serving eight years at PeopleSoft as Vice President of HRMS global product strategy where she was involved in setting the direction for the company's flagship Human Resources product line. Before PeopleSoft, she spent fifteen years in the computer software industry with Dun & Bradstreet Software (previously MSA) and Cullinet Software, primarily focused on marketing, sales, support, and development of Human Resource Systems . Ms. Henson was voted one of the "Top Ten Women in Technology" by Computer Currents, received IHRIM's (International Association for Human Resource Information Management) coveted Summit Award for lifetime achievement in her field, and was named the first Visionary of HR Technology at the Annual HR Technology Conference. She has been a frequent speaker at HR associations, including IHRIM, HR Technology, IQPC, SHRM, APA, Conference Board, AHRI, and HRPS. Currently on the Board of the IHRIM Journal she also serves on advisory boards for Authoria and InfoMentis.

Jac Fitz-enz, PhD

Known worldwide as 'Dr. Jac' and the Father of Human Capital Benchmarking and Workforce Analysis, Jac Fitz-enz carried out the original research on human resources measurement in the 1970s and followed that by publishing the first human capital metrics in 1985. As the Founder and Chairman of Saratoga Institute he led the development of the world's most comprehensive human capital benchmark database. Those database metrics have been endorsed as the standard for the human resources profession by the Society for Human Resources Management. Dr. Fitz-enz is an award winning author having published over 160 articles, reports and book chapters covering human capital valuation, leadership, human resources structuring and benchmarking, outsourcing, human capital branding, performance measurement and employee retention. He is the author of seven books on human capital and organizational management, which have been translated into Chinese, German, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish. He has trained more than 60,000 managers in 40 countries. Although his works are widely imitated, he remains "The Source" for human capital strategy and measurement. In January 2003, Dr. Fitz-enz launched his personalized advisory service on human capital strategy, analysis, measurement and forecasting. His clients include Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Cox Communications, YUM Brands, HR Biotech Association, Henkel Corporation, California Office of the Courts, Unicru and Workplace Futures.

Charles Handler, PhD
President and Founder Rocket-Hire

Charles Handler founded Rocket-Hire in order to help provide organizations of all types with solid expertise in the design, implementation, and validation of employee selection systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University and has been working as an employee selection specialist for over 10 years. Dr. Handler has extensive experience developing and validating all manner of employee selection systems for a wide variety of jobs in a number of settings including, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, high-tech, and public safety. Dr. Handler's is a regular columnist for Electronic Recruiting Exchange, Workforce Management Magazine , and SHRM's Employment Management Today . He is a member of Tulane University's Business Studies faculty, where he currently teaches students about Recruitment and Selection and other HR related topics. He is also an active speaker giving workshops about best practices for employee selection and speaking at events such as the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology's annual conference, the Electronic Recruiting Exchange Annual Expo, and a variety of user conferences and workshops. He is a member of the American Psychology Association, Society for Human Resource Management, and Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Karen Beaman

Karen V. Beaman is currently a Managing Partner with Jeitosa International, a strategic consulting firm specializing in organizational effectiveness through transnational leadership. Previously, she held global responsibility with ADP for the sales and delivery of professional services across the Americas, Europe, and Asia/Pacific. Based in Paris for four years, she was responsible for building ADP's professional services business across Europe and for launching the company's professional services in Latin America. Ms. Beaman has degrees from Old Dominion and Georgetown Universities. She is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the IHRIM Journal and is an internationally recognized speaker and author and has published works on such topics as global human resources issues, information technology, transnational organizational design, outsourcing strategies, cultural diversity, and global leadership. Through IHRIM Press, she has released two edited volumes, Boundaryless HR: Human Capital Management in the Global Economy and Out of Site: An Inside Look at HR Outsourcing . In 2002, Ms. Beaman received the IHRIM's Summit Award, honoring her lifetime achievements in field. She is fluent in English, German, French, and Portuguese.
